My husband (ugh sounds like I’m 45.  i’m only 25.) — anyway, ahem, my husband just filled out some form for his health insurance and found this out:

For a man his size (6’2”, 187 lbs.), he is supposed to take in 3,070 - 3,145 calories a day.  To maintain his weight.

Sounds ridiculous to me.  Especially since I’m only supposed to take in 1200-1500 calories to lose weight.

Do you believe this?
